this weekend was pretty damn good. and necessary.
the husband and i are preparing for my family to come visit us. this will be the first time we've seen them since the wedding (almost a year) and while i love my parents dearly....well...being a new family takes practice and patience and it's a little stressful to plan a whole week together.
this weekend there was pretty much nothing done but laundry. baking. screwing around on the interweb. having sex. drinking in the afternoon. it's been awesome.
sometimes you need to just do nothing. and this weekend...i needed to do nothing. except my husband. and drinking wine. and then my husband again.

Sounds like a marvelous weekend. It's great that you and your husband are such a hot couple. Some people (not me) aren't so lucky. Savor every moment.
