Intriguing. Never done any kind of RPG other than the computer ones before.
One of my work friends was telling me about his D&D adventures. Long story short: they were in some dungeon wherein you had to solve some puzzle, and press a button to see if you got it right.
If you get it wrong, a bunch of skeletons drop down from out of nowhere.
So, he presses the button, and the skeleton comesout, whereupon he unleashes a can of whoop-ass.
Now he's bored.
So he presses the button again.
More skeletons, which are quickly dispatched.
Still bored - he presses it again.
Hilarity ensues. I don't know how many times he did this before his party was ready to kill him.

well the SF con was not so great, and there was ten + hours of transportation, 5 of which was unnecisary see welntaod's journal for longer explanation.
but overall it's never bad to stay in a hotel with your love bunny. and the ferry was beautiful
