Fig trees have gone to fruit heaven. Apparently they don't like cold, which it really wasn't last winter. Life goes on, time to plant more Chardonet and Pinot Blanc. Too many bees around figs anyway. Someday I hope to see vineyard to the horizon. Lots of work before that tho.

All of my grafted grapevines sprouted above the grafts this spring. May not sound very exciting, but this is a major miracle. My olive trees survived the winter as well. Farming today, Finally planted the French grapevines. Chardonay is on its way. Probably 5 years from now. The only current crop is grass, Kentucky Fescue, not the other. Now that the vines are in the ground, I have visions of the whole place looking like Southwest Spain. I must have more Savignon Blanc or I'll surely die.
