Oh, I completely agree. If you're gonna ride, you're gonna come off at some point. I've been lucky up to this point! I've got some healing to do before I get back on - I can't even walk normally right now, never mind try to put together the coordinated movements I'd need to ride!

Well this years resolution is fitness intense: run-workout-run workout-run ... So far the plan is working, ran for about an hour this evening. I need to change my running scenery tho, running on a 400 meter track always has the temptation of short-cutting the laps. There is a 7 mile walk/run path near here, I may try that. Well - tonight my computer seems to be running - wtf? And no - it's not just SG - it's everything I do on it!! Make me so mad - I think I need to call the Geek Squad, or get an apple pc. Apparently they are much more reliable and not prone to crap building up on them...........
I worked out for an hour and a half today! New Year's resolution is to get really fit and badass - even if I am 50 ( blush ) Being in Hawaii made me realize there are some really fit people out there, and not all of them are YOUNG. shocked Michigan is one of the fattest states ya' know? I've been resting on my laurels. Now it's time to wake up and smell the coffee ( Mmmm, I love coffee......)
Just found out I'm on my way to hyperthyroidism - It's not bad enough to irradiate yet, but that's whats looming on the horizon - I just want to lose 10 lbs first though. blush whatever
Gotta' have my blood checked every 3 months now, to keep an eye on my levels...........
Oh well - there are worse things.

Well the K & B purple quiz didn't go so good. Christmas did tho. Got some good wine and of course the Early present of the Mustang from Madam LaPlace. Smooth as silk and handles much like an Italian horsie.

Drove to New Orleans Friday night to attend a wedding in the French Quarter Saturday evening. Drank allot of great French wine and ate a million oysters and crab claws. I took Meow to our place.
We used the gift card, finally ... and there was lots of yelling. We weren't drunk, but I did wear a plastic mask, and made her lick a plate. We yelled about a throne in the bathroom and everyone else was uncomfortable by our presence.

Saw Beowulf tonight. Computer animation is not my favorite, but an excellent movie non-the-less. When they try to make animation so perfect, why don't they just film real actors and get it over with. The facial detail was perfect, but they still can't get the fluidity of motion just right. Kinda jerky and less than natural. My teenage son did get to see Angelina's animated...

I was scared, when the website first came up, and then I saw that it was an animation. that actually tripped my trigger to give it ago. i felt it had to be better than "Beowulf and Grendel" with Gerard Butler and Stellan Skarsgaard...which should have been Amazing, since it had those guys. surreal

Running was a serious challenge tonight but I did maintain my distance and speed after all[ I didn't feel very fast at the end, but my watch said don't worry be happy]. My token 100 meter sprint at the end was just a tad faster than my usual extra slow. Never have been a sprinter, I just try to wear'em out over the long distance....
