Finally getting my running pace worked out. Not burning it all out in the beginning and drag-assing at the end. Five miles smooth as silk with some speed left for the end. Next month the 10K gets re-installed in my butt.

Off to Mexico for the week to work, no sun, no sand, no semi-naked girls, life can be cruel. At least it's warm there wink biggrin

nice nature is so wonderful good for you!

Send me a slice of sun smile

Got a new local Thai restaurant [Thai Chang] here in Greeneville. They seem to be able to create the great complex Thai flavors without burning everything else out. I think it's kinda like the difference between what people think Cajun cooking is and what really is. My Mother in Law is pure blooded Acadian and she hardly uses any cayenne at all. Anybody in the...

Warmed up enough to wash the nubian horsey today. Tomorrow is tree trimming day, one gets trimmed even with the ground. The neighbor has a fireplace so he'll be warm the rest of the Winter anyway.

Running is going true to New Years resolution, 4 to 5 miles per day, per night actually. I've always been a late night runner, never before 8:00 P.M., usually...

Everybody at work is taking a voluntary one week layoff in January. Trying to keep everybody working and its tough in the automotive business now.

My turn in the barrel is this coming week. Going to trim trees and grapevines, build vine trellises and get the little French cuties ready for Spring.

I'm going to try and grow some hops this coming summer, a friend...

I think the boy and I are going to do the Master Cleanse.

Fasting is going to be hard for this little Italian... but as your minibar says, go [semi]Vegan, go healthy.
Detox for long life, eh?

Their big thing is that it beat some woman's cancer.

and of course... Jesus loves it!! yuk yuk yuk.

When I get my life on track, I want to go on her program of this stuff... no more vitamins, and everything my body needs. Looks neat tho, eh?

Ice storm, like running on marbles and the lights are flickering. My little gas heater in the garage may save us again. The drive to work in the morning may be just wonderful. Going down the road sideways is only fun when it's intentional. Probably ought to leave over energetic Mustang in the garage and drive old reliable baby Honda, she always gets you there...

Splashing thru puddles just isn't as much fun as it used to be. My sweatpants and hoodie weighted about 20 pounds extra towards end of my daily abuse. We actually had a good old fashioned thunderstorm in the middle of Winter. Madam came to track looking for me, absolutely sure I'd been lightening bit. Survived it all with only a few more miles wear and...

More running in the rain, was that a Gene Kelly movie sequel? Actually easier than dry, keeps you cool both inside and outside. My lake effect friends tell me it's better than snow, I must agree. Local flooding here, glad I live at the top of the hill. That NY resolution of running everyday apparently has several complications. Victory at Sea, press on regardless, damn...

I'm always afraid of falling on my ass when I run in bad weather. And then I wouldn't be able to run at all for a while. Of course I can always run at the gym if it's bad out (or I mean, I used to be able to run, I will be able to at some point in the future . . . )

Resolutions still intact. wink

Didn't get on the track 'til 10:00 P.M., intended to run only 10 laps[2.5 mile], it started to rain. The gods of Olympus be damned, I ran 4 miles anyway, no lightning bites or anything.

biggrin

I can only do 1 mile frown *I think I've def been neglecting the good run around the neighborhood since the holidays* but that'll totally change smile

The weather is so lame here, its like flurries/raining right now, not grand for even a little walk around the city.

good for you you are an inspiration for us all

Well the New Year resolutions of running everyday is on schedule, did 27 400 M laps and actually had some left at the end for a 100M sprint. 15 YO said it was too cold to run. Tough old fart beats swift footed youth every time.

I said I would get vegan and intend to, but still can't resist a NW Salmon when it swims...
