Crows still distrust me, but they always sneak in and eat everything I give them tho, mostly boiled eggs, cracked corn and peanuts. Still a murder of six, still not sure why a flock of crows is called a murder. Robins have been back for about 3 weeks, so maybe Winter will stay gone, they tend to be smarter than the WeatherChannel.

The vineyard is starting to bud, hoping a frost doesn't get the blossoms, tho they're too young to produce proper grapes anyway. Anxious to get the herb garden started, basic Meditereanian mix. This year I'm gonna plant a mega crop of peppers and freeze them, they're a buck each at the store, and I can raise a hunderd for that. Probably plant a few green chilis for friends, never developed a taste for them myself. I have to put peppers in everything, Cajun trinity, onions, celery, and sweet peppers; not to be confused with the French trinity of onions, celery, and carrots

Been lazy all Winter, great to get out and run again. My goal is to run the Marine Corp Marathon in October 2012, I'll be in a slower class by then and maybe I can qualify for Boston, every LDR's dream.

Gave the crows two softshell crabs today[frozen from Vietnam]. They didn't last long, must be they approved.
