Today is a great day, they reopened my local 400 metre track. Repaved and rubberized, kindly to knees now, tho it never did any damage when it was asphalt. Now I can get back on my daily 10K routine without getting run over, roads just aren't safe since the advent of cell phones. I'm as guilty as the rest, tho I have a personal rule of never texting above 80 mph. Madam yells at me if I even glance at my phone while the car is moving, if she only knew. Been neglecting the gym this last Winter as well, better get back at it before everything falls apart.

I'm minus two on the Green-scale now, cut down three trees and only planted one. My only defense is that the trees were getting old and dangerous. previous twenty-five years I averaged planting ten per year, so maybe I'm not completely lost. By Summers end I'm sure to catch up. Herb garden may count for something, tho dill weed, basil, and oregano don't exactly count as trees.

A Little Cuban music to keep the fire going.
These same musicians played this in pre-Castro clubs in Havana. Several were past 80 when they recorded this. Rye Cooder was able to archive many performances in Havana before they were all gone, "The Buena Vista Social Club". No one creates the fire in music quite like Cuban Balero performers.

Hmm...I will have to check it out. Thank for the tip. As for photo sets, there is one in the pipeline just not sure when it's gonna come down. Soon though, soon smile
