Still too cold in the morning to run without Michelin man clothes. The backwoods hillbilly forecasters here say there is to be one more BIG snow, they are usually right. The way things are going, I think my late night runs are still the best plan.
Favored son is finishing up his Eagle Scout project in the local national park[Pisgah National Forest]. I get to push 10 tons of gravel with a wheel barrow, actually much better than a gym workout. This is how the feds create jobs, they layoff 34 out of 40 parks workers and get volunteers to pick up the slack. They now have 6 local full time employees taking care of 158,000 acres of parks and they do double duty as law enforcement on weekends just for fun. Not sure how this whole jobs creation thing is gonna work if they remain part of the problem.
Sorry for the gloom and doom, just have to rant every now and then.
All things considered life is still great and happy to do what I can.
