Seems like the Winter depression isn't as bad for me as usual, I think I've been getting out in the sunlight allot more than past years. Nothing more dragging to me than getting up before light and getting home after dark everyday. Even tho I've been researching stock 12 or 15 hours a day, I try to get outside and breath some real air and absorb a little sunshine in the P.M. after the temperature gets a little more bearable. It's not short sleeve weather, but a few layers without a coat seems to work out pretty comfortable.

Allot of grapevine pruning to do yet, haven't found the motivation just yet, gotta be in the right mood for vintnercation. Everything should winter over well, had lots of rain to keep the dehydration down. Most vines pass to drying out not freezing to death.

Also, hoping to get started on another rusty motorcycle to make it pretty again. I've had a pile of parts that used to be a 1956 hardtail BSA M20. Shining one piece at a time, should be close by Spring. And yes there is a very good reason why they are called hardtails, your butt will not be amused after even a short ride. His older sister the 1953 needs a trip around the block as well. My old bones have gotten used to the creature comfort of the nubian Mustang and may protest the primal urge of old iron. We shall see. As I must always remind the neo-bikettes--
"real motorcycle don't have electric starters and some do not have springs"!!winkwink
vittore:
The winter sadness is difficult. The best way to get through it is to recognize it and know to attribute it to the climate, where it rightfully belongs, and not to life suddenly becoming joyless.

It was 10 degrees here today, and I, of my own free will, decided to walk to the shop for some little, inconsequential things. The wind and snow are brutal, but a part of me likes thinking that I can survive (mostly) comfortably where others cannot (or would not even try). Minnesota doesn't really have "fair weather friends".
