Found another good Indiana music venue last Thursday, The Muse in Lafayette. Rude Punk, Ska, Blues, R & B all in one night 7 to 3. Cheap bar with good Euro booze too. Who could want more. Well worth the trip for you folks in Chicago too.
The baby Mustang needs new shoes, but only in the back, must be due to excess enthusiasm. It was allot easier when dad was buying the tires. Think I'll get some good sticky ones so I can properly scare my passenger. Lifes too short to be safe. Defensive driving is always a good thing, but over the years I've found that the best defense is to scare the F*ck out of everyone around you to create personal space. Always served me well.
Probably be in Indiana thru March, awful hot and humid for "up North" so early in the Summer. It is good for a good 6 mile sweaty run, cleans everything out body and soul. As long as I can dodge all the cell phone drivers with their phone to their ears and head up their asses. I can't complain too much I guess, I'm an 80 MPH textor myself. Obama is right about fixing our infrastructure, Indiana needs to start paving roads, before they shake all of my teeth out.
Advice of the day: the most important lesson I ever learned in life was from a Navy Chief petty officer Irvine, he once told me that you can have great intelligence, enthusiasm and train somebody forever, but there is no substitute for getting your head out of your ass and paying attention to what's going on around you. It will not only keep you alive, but miles ahead of everybody else.
