Everybody at work is taking a voluntary one week layoff in January. Trying to keep everybody working and its tough in the automotive business now.
My turn in the barrel is this coming week. Going to trim trees and grapevines, build vine trellises and get the little French cuties ready for Spring.
I'm going to try and grow some hops this coming summer, a friend wants to make beer and we both like dark bitter so here we go.
Can't wait to get a new President, I think the whole World is optimistic about what he'll accomplish. At least we'll have some decent music at the inaugural ball.
There is a possibility of a cabinet position for the arts, we seem to be the only country in the World that doesn't have a ministry for the arts and culture, and if I do say so the U.S. has more art and culture than anybody. Secretary Quincy Jones sound great just sayin' it.
The biggest task we have in the next 10 years is to reinvent our entire global culture, greed won't work anymore as it used to in a free market, 'cause the money is just plain gone, nothin' to steal. We have lots of work, nobody really has time to be unemployed, just gotta get it started.
