Still hot and dry for my little French wine berries, but they have done well for a bad year. They have made positive growth towards the goal of bottled nectar[still about 3 years out tho]. Going to Dijon next week on business, hoping to wander the vineyards south of Paris for the following weekend. Their production is done for this year, but I can see what their vines look like after a full years growth. Too early to see any pruning. i hope to be back there this winter tho, and maybe watch the cutting masters at work.

Nights are cool now, and excellent for running. I've gotten my long distance endurance groove established now. Once I get beyond the wind wall of about 1.5 miles, my breathing and heart rate settles down and I can pretty much go for miles after that[ usually 10Km,6.21 miles]. At least its enough to burn off an occasional guava mango mousse or key lime pie.

I have resolved, no matter how rude the waiters in Paris are, not to allow my Harley rider/fleet sailor counter-resolve judgment to kick the dog out of them[maybe just one quick sucker punch or not].

So far the new Harley construction consists of one skinny front tire and one extra extra fat back tire. I know I have answered the primal urge when madam LaPlace say" you're not going to put that tire on a motorcycle are you?". Attached please find a representation of artistic cyclic proportions.
