I did it. I testified. I think it may have just about been the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
Just writting about it now makes my heart beat faster and my breath quicken.
But the trial isn't over. Tomorrow the detective will testify and then it will be his turn to testify. I would give anything to hear his testimony; how the hell he can claim that what happened that day was consensual. But I'm not allowed into the court room until closing statements.
Then the jury will decide.
