ok i'm going to use this to preach/vent for a change.
this week i've had to deal with the end of my 6 1/2 month relationship. i've had to deal with my grandmother losing her leg and not being able to get back to ohio to be there with her. i've been feeling really stressed out about money and last night someone stole my visa check card number and bought like $160 of stuff with my check card...which is my actual money and rent is due in like 4 days. because checks i had written are clearing my bank is charging me 4 overdraft charges leaving me negative $300 which will get straightened out in like 90 days. and i'm just about to completely lose my shit. but then a few good things happen.
my friend/ex-lover comes through with a hug that i don't think i deserve because i've taken the breakup very badly. my grandma gets up and demands a walker to go down the hall of the hospital one day after they take her leg cause she's that strong. my mom comes through with a loan. and my friend/bass player Keith comes through with dinner, his shoulder, and a few laughs before tonights practice. then Tess called. so now i'm showered and ready to go.
things get bad for people... but if we have friends and the blood of a strong woman in us then we'll be alright. remember that.

Thanks for reminding me that i never got to IKEA wednesday. I've decided to make you my first SG friend...i know you're overwhelmed by the honor, but do try and keep it together.
IKEA was crazy on Wednesday. So many people were there I was beginning to wonder if it was some kind of national holiday that I didn't know about. You would think these people would have work at 1:30 on a Wednesday but I guess not. I saw some parents with their kids too, I was like "GO TO SCHOOL! go to work! let us college kids buy cheap furniture!"
