So, here we are. The last few hours of what has been for me - and some of those that I am close to - a topsy-turvy year of lows, rapid decents and the pits of hell...

Has it really been that bad?

We had to re-mortgage our house...

Our cat died...

our mortgage repayment went up

I had to spend 5k that I hadn't planned for

Another of our cats died

It took me six months to get a grant that should have taken six weeks, and as a result I'm down 6k of funds for the project I'm involved in...

our mortgage went up AGAIN

my mother in law was taken ill

it took six months to get consents to start work on our project, as a result we are into the bad weather and so we're behind by about 3 months

mum-in-law got worse

a THIRD of our cats died (that was the last one and we're gutted)

three days later mum-in-law died (the funeral was just before christmas)

I wonder why it is we're pleased that 2007 is coming...well, it's breathing heavily anyway...

This is the last time these things will be mentioned - I guess they had to be recorded somewhere for posterity and later reference. Not that I'll be reading it...
