In a couple of days, I'm technically on vacation.

I suspect I have other projects going that will turn it into work, but there you go.

And I'll try to get a BCB set out of it, somehow.

Rough day at work. I am in pain.

But at least the peanuts are out of my system now. You see, I occasionally have an allergy to peanuts. Sometimes I don't, and I can almost always handle them as ingredients in something else. Sometimes, though, on their own... road flare in the stomach.

Friends are in from out of town, so I'm getting to juggle that and more family stuff. Yay.

I need to build my Christmas list. I also need to order another thing or two to get that hard drive working.

In other news, a Happy Thanksgiving to folks out there!

And today is a day off, in which I try to intercept UPS bringing my SATA cable and an IDE to USB converted, for if things go badly otherwise in ghosting my original drive. I have SATA drivers on a floppy, and a boot CD (which I really ought to go ahead and burn, since I haven't yet) with the ghosting software.

So, I got dropped sooner than I expected, and right when I'd just made a major expenditure.

So I'm back. I got dropped back out of BCB and don't know if I'd get back in after that, but... hey, what can you do?

It was a bit of an adventure getting to Nashville, but not so bad getting back. In between, I attended a convention, played games, and hung around with old friends. Much fun was had.
