There's this thing called the World Community Grid. It does "distributed computing." You donate your idle CPU time to solving problems. The particular one that we're working on now is human proteome folding. I've got both my machines at home, and my box at work chipping in. You get points and can form teams and so on. If you have a machine that you...

I like to have weiner dogs on my lap...oh so comforting.

No, actaully I am not too certain that he is NOT a killer...although we did have a conversation about me being one and him coming down and me cutting him up into ten pieces so my sick self could have ten of him. Eww.

I don't wear underware. So, what should I do...?
kybella:
Ha! Sounds fun... maybe so...ya never know with me....endless possibilities... wink

Some journal entries just aren't meant to be written. I started this one twice before and scrapped them. I'm not trying to be mysterious, really. I just need to be careful about writing about people who might one day read this (however unlikely I think that is to happen). Schade. This is a good place to sift through the dregs of your soul.

At my...

Not really much in the way of a coherent post today. Just a bunch o' random thoughts.

I put up a pic of my bike. As soon as I get my digital back from my brother, I'll put up some more pix - my cars, maybe more of me.

I rode the bike in today. I need to get a windshield. It gets pretty chilly,...

Ever feel like things - just normal everyday things - are spiraling out of your control? The laundry piles up, the mail piles up, the cupboards are empty, the house is a wreck. I'm starting to feel that way. So much shit that never gets done, and I never feel like doing it. Feh, maybe it's just winter blahs.

Got my teeth cleaned today. Instead...

*Sigh.* Back at work today. Physically, at any rate. I did, in fact, go to Chattanooga New Year's Eve. Things are still on a downhill slide, though, I think. She's leaving for L.A. Saturday to take a class, and won't be back until the following Saturday, so that's a couple of weeks apart we'll have, whatever that'll mean....

At least the days are getting longer,...

In fact, I don't even know if Jane wants me to come up for New Year's Eve. Sorry, I'm not gonna call and ask. I always do the calling and asking. And, she's made it pretty clear that she's not happy in the relationship. I've a feeling the next time I'm up there will be to pick up my shit.

So, I boot into Linux...
