Hmmm....
Went to a lecture on alchemy at the open center, a cheesy new age place in Soho. Wound up being a lot better than I thougth it'd be.

The Latvian Chick who was going to move in to my apartment punked out at the last minute, leaving my roommates and I hanging.

Then, Isaac, my roommate's cat ran away and hasnt been seen for...

Went to dc for an interview. Spent 8 hours being poked and prodded...

After the ordeal was over I got picked up by a friend of mine, stoned out of his gourd, and proceded to get lost for an hour or so, trying to find the bar.

He's a security guard for the Italian embassy, which Im guessing is a soft target. They didnt train...

A friend of mine from school is in town for the weekend, and its was so cool to see him.
You know how there are some people that you can hang out with every day for a year and not see them for 5 years, and then completley pick up where you left off? Its cool...

Im going in for a state department test on...

There's a direct preportion between how happy you are to find a 50% off sale on Ramen and how miserable your life is...
hulasboy:
my favorite kind is ichiban sapporo, "japan's #1 selling ramen"

out here there are so many japanese noodle houses that i don't ever have to buy the instant kind, but i survived a whole summer in college on ramen and refried beans.

beneath the underdog was awesome.

last week I drove down to Las Vegas to catch a Martin Sexton concert (which I missed, & ended up in a grimy hotel room paying almost 300 dollars for a rather half-hearted hand-job--but that's another story entirely) & on my way out of town I stopped at grocery store that seemed to cater almost entirely to a Hispanic & Asian clientelle, with the end-result that I came home with a lot of Goya products, & several Ramen bowls.
upon inspection, once home, the bowls turned out to be Kim Chi flavored. I haven't tried them yet. I'm kind of scared to.
I LIKE Kim Chi--but the idea of spicy cabbage flavored noodles make me a bit--nervous.
but they were cheap! (50 cents a bowl!)

And so its war, on this beautiful spring night, where the harsh New Jersey winter has finally settled down to become a lamb. My window is open, and the air feels refreshing as I breath it in. There are still some children playing in the street, I can hear them laughing as they shoot hoops.

Perhaps somewhere else vultures are gathering with the same enthusiasm,...
