God, toe shoes are SO HOT. How I wish I could see her from the side in this picture:

There need to be more pictures on this site of girls in toe shoes. Does anyone else besides me find girls en pointe to be unbelieveably sexy?







And what I wouldn't give for the knee-high version of these in matte leather...



Am I missing any? Please tell me there are more pictures of girls on their tippy tip toes on this site.

I think liking toe shoes has contributed to my love of dancer feet. They all have the same calloused, twisted, flexible feet. They're so pretty.

I am the only one?

Ballet is soooo not about comfort. For a lot of the girls it's about beauty at any cost. the sad fact is though that some of the most beautiful dancer did the most harm to themselves to become so. Gelsey Kirkland ring a bell?
Even so, it took a strong, strong will to go through a barre with all of the amazingly gorgeous little bunheads in their tights and pointe shoes (and leg warmers, yum...) without having an apoplexy.
Urp. I think I'm having one now...
