Thanks to the grounding influence of brokenbeatnik and Figment, I read the note.
It was amazing. It was from my neighbor.
Lemme give you some background:
Go look at the Mutts comic strip. A frame from one of those comics is on my door.
Earlier this week, I left said neighbor a note asking that he keep the radio turned down after 12am (I tend to start my homework around 12am and Terry Gross is so interesting that I can't be having her distract me through the wall).
His very sweet and considerate response included a spot-on original cartoon of me (as Shtinky the cat, which I hope wasn't a comment on my hygiene), all sleepy in the middle of the night.
My dad was a pretty good cartoonist in his day, so I know a bit about lines and shading and such. My neighbor is not only talented but displays a great deal of technical drawing knowhow.
And if there is one thing I find attractive, it's boobs.
But If I had to pic two things to find attractive, the second thing would definitely be knowhow (it could conceivably be the third, depending on how you assign "boobs"). And the fourth thing would be the ability to be considerate.
But how to befriend a person who's note it took you three days to get the balls to read?
Luckily I have people to decide these things for me...
PS You may notice I don't talk about pain and bullshit doctors as much any more. That's cause I've been feeling tons better. Yay, huh?
