Is That a Camera in Your Pocket or are You Just...

Let me start out today's post by saying Death Cab was friggin' awesome. They were right on the whole night, but you wouldn't have noticed because LAGA'S SOUND FUCKING SUCKS. I've played there before and the sound guy there is great. He's got a shitty room to deal with so I hardly believe it's the engineer's fault. Oh well...

Here's what pissed me off...

I noticed a NO CAMERAS sign posted on the walls as I worked up the stairwell and was highly disappointed. I really, really, really wanted to get those guys in my camera last night. I mean, I've been looking forward to it for a while. Being that I am a reasonable guy, I turned around and put my camera back in my car. Not an easy thing to do when you're in the middle of Oakland and you camera was $900.00.

So the show is progressing and right around the middle I see something...a flash. Then I see another and another and another. At this point I'm pissed. I've seen signs discouraging cameras and ignored them in the past. What happens? A person walks up to you and says "No cameras please". Not last night. Not at all. All I wanted to do was respect peoples wishes. Damn....I'll get them next time.

No Smoking, Please

Pennsylvania legislature is proposing a ban on smoking in work places. This means I won't smell like smoke after I leave a bar or restaurant. If you think the "Non-Smoking" section doesn't smell like smoke, you're a moron and you smell like shit.
