No Such Thing as a Free Lunch
Wednesday I had a remarkable day of doing absolutely nothing important. I talked to Variety for a bit. She's sick, which is a damn shame, because I hate it when the people I like are laid low by illness. If you're reading this, and there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
I went back to work today after a couple of glorious days off. Dirty Hippie stopped by after my shift was over and the Manager treated us to lunch. It's the weirdest thing...when we're working, he can be an absolute asshole. Rude, demanding, and aroogant. But when my shift is done, he can be charming, urbane, even funny on occassion. If the man would only take some of those qualities and use them on employees while they worked, the whole place might be happier. As it stands, I'm working on a project to harness all the negative energy and use it to open a portal to hell.

Aww, you are the sweetest, cutest boy!!! I'm feeling much better after 4 or 5 beers and a couple of free shots! I'm pretty drunk right now, but I'll be feeling awful in the morning. Then I'll be better by mid-day (Remember, my morning is about 1pm). Thank you sooo much for being concerned. I'm still coughing uncontrollably for the most part and hacking up green and yellow bits when I wake up in the morning. But it's getting better, the fever's gone away!
