Bamboozled is moving his stuff out as I type. SOme piece of work he was. Shame.

It suddenly occured to me today that the relationship between my black roommate and I is somewhat like Rappaport and Wayans in Bamboozled. I figured you would sympathize best since we discussed this years ago, but this is really hard for me to deal with since I live in the hood. Living with a self hating black man, just upsetting to me. You might really like this-he looks down on me b/c I love the hood and am happy with my life where he still insists that all blacks are so persecuted and yet goes on about how he hates "nigger behavior" (oh yeah) and seriously thinks he is smarter than me b/c he goes to college--he told me I should try getting an education! When I was working in the ghetto he was working (still) in fine dining (hence that suit he is wearing) and talking trash about my patrons being ghetto, etc. Isn't this a pickle I'm in?

Oh I forgot he hates the ghetto and is fighting to "get out" and gets disgusted with me when I listen to like Outkast of all things (he will question me about it) and I just have to shit this out to you: I live with a salf hating black man who thinks I am beneath him. This is hilarious. I'm gonna start busting Chappelle-style on him. He will talk trash about "Shaniquas" and "ghetto bitches" yet get this: Son drinks vodka with fruit punch. Dude, you need to come over for a dinner party and slap his face in.

Well, shit...if I'd seen that, you know I would have gotten it right away. I had at least one journal dedicated in part to that film...

First of all, I didn't get much of a chance to guess that one, not obsure enough, I guess.

Second, I gave up on watching 24. I just couldn't take it anymore.

Third, I did watch the trailer on-line, just now. It does look much better than the earlier footage. Two questions - Is the title really "X-Men: The Last Stand"? And is this based on any story from the comics?

24 is on my list of shows to see too! i have a few friends who like it, and i finally watched some random ep of the new season - just to get the flavor of it. i really dug it. it's SO over the top, but it goes balls to the walls with it, thus making is super-entertaining.

Ah Angel the Cordy years....Mmmm Cordelia Chase...MMMMMMM charisma carpenter. That show was agreat. I think alot darker then Buffy in my opinion.
