I finally have something to put in my update. In my new policy of total 100% truth, I shall continue. The last 2 hours or so were rough. We went from breaking up, to (hopefully) getting back together (with a few caveats) all in the course of the same phone call.
Every relationship needs a serious discussion about its past and its present, possibly its future. I believe we had one of those last night. As I said earlier I'm not 100 % sure what we decided. I know what I think and hope we decided, but time will tell if I understand subtleties correctly.


Katie, I love you. I know you know that. I just want to say it again. Katie, I love you. You taught me how to love and how to be loved. I can never thank you enough for this gift that you've given to me.. But I can damn sure try.
