I was supposed to be asleep right now. I laid down at 12 am to get a good 8+ hours in. Unfortunately a combination of factors converged to conspire against me. Not the least of which was the intense, nigh unbearable heat and humidity in my room. Another factor was my irrational fears and concerns for people i care about. I shouldn't worry about them so much, but I do.
Preliminaries aside, here's a totally random survey that everyone who reads my journal is required by law to complete
1. What's your favorite color?
2. Who's your favorite Beatle?
3. What's your favorite flower?
4. What's the scariest horror movie you've seen?.
5. Cake or Death?
My Answers:
1. Blue
2. Ringo
3. Hyacinth
4. The unofficial spawn of satan trillogy: Rosemary's Baby/The Omen/The Exorcist
5. Death... I mean cake!
*edit*
I finally got to sleep and I slep for another 3-4 hours but now I feel sick. probably nothing; but shit like this is why i hate summer
*2econd edit*
Its hot as satan's sauna outside (and the first person to say "its not the heat, its the humidity" gets one o' these
)
So I went to the movies this morning and saw Mean Girls; its fucking hillarious. Quite possibly the best SNL movie ever (behind The Blues Brothers of course) . Yes it didnt have any SNL charachters but Tina Fey wrote and starred in it . Tim Medows also starred (and was great) and Lorne Micheals produced it. If that isnt an SNL movie I dont know what is. So yeah, I was the only person in the theater. Literally the ONLY PERSON. It was wierd at first, but after a while it was liberating being able to laughe louder and more often at it without worrying about disturbing anyone. AND I actually got to hear all the dialogue

Work was ok tonite, and afterwards I went out for dinner and ice cream with Sam and her friends Bridget and Cindy (well actually, Cindy's her cousin but i doubt anyone cares to split hairs at this point). It was good to talk to Sam again. I havent talked to her much since she started her new job, and tonite was her last night at our station, so no more working with Sam
. Ah well, we'll still be able to have junch every once in a while and hang on weekends

And thanks.
Green. Although yellow's been gaining lately, given my car and some swanky clothing purchases.
2. Who's your favorite Beatle?
I'll go with George. He seemed to have the best talent-to-insufferable-bullshit ratio.
3. What's your favorite flower?
This one.
4. What's the scariest horror movie you've seen?
The last US "election".
5. Cake or Death?
You mean the bands?
