What a joke my job really is. My only task each time I work is to cross check about 100 registration cards with a list on the computer, once I amsure the list is correct I print out two copies of this list, one goes into my "Work binder" and the other is sent to my co-worker who sends it to my boss. This whole big scheme takes about 1/2 an hour, yet I am always scheduled to work for 8 hours (midnight to 8am). All of my co-workers however think I am crazy for working these hours, however they have to actually deal with conference guests, deal with bosses who are in the office, and keep up with the filling and other office type shit that has to be done. I, on the other hand, work generally more hours poer shift than my co-workers, do less work, and stil get paid the same wage. The only thing I give up is a traditional sleeping pattern, but I've always enjoyed the late night and early morning far more than the late morning and mid-day hours. This job has been nothing but great to me. On other fronts classes are going extremely well; I'm taking two general courses, Introduction to International Relations and Introduction to Macroeconomics, both profs (this is an abbreviation one of my proffessors here used and I think its the dumbest thing in the world, so I make myself use it) ecnourgae us to read newspapaers and not watch TV. these are both things I've always thought it would be a good idea todo and these profs have been just the catalyst I need to make it happen, not to mention the fact that I don't have television at my house, only movies. And I've never seen a problem with watching a large amount of movies, they make me think, make me feel, and fill in the quiet times when my roommate and I are totired to think, let alone talk. One extremely great bonus of this no tv thing has been my huge increase in music listening. Its on all the time at my house, unlessmyroomatesisslumbering - shes been needing tons of sleep latley. The best though is the fullfillment of a dream I've had for a long time - I have a cd player in my bathroom. This serves two main purposes for me, 1 it lets mewake up even more by listening to some kickin jams, twoitlets metimemy showers. I have the bad habit of jsut letting the hot water rain down on me and not moving for quite some time, this leads to being late and pruned hands and all types of ugliness. With songs on I can time my showers, I'm down to about a 2 song shower at this point and I'm loving life!!! Someone please comment, I get the feeling no is reading, and it makes me sad - especially in these wee hoursof the morning when I wirte these bad boys LOL.
PEACE!

i'm not sure which one i liked best, i laughed really hard through most of it.

Last House on the Left is technically a better film then Hills Have Eyes, but Hills Have Eyes is one of those flicks that's just so great and interesting and bizarre and full of weird things that you can't help but love it to death (also, my Grandmother showed it to me when I was about 4 so its kinda sentimental in a bizarre way).

Oh, and Michael Berryman is awesome!

Now, if you want to see a BAD movie, check out The Hills Have Eyes Pt. 2! I can't believe Craven was responsible for it.
