Dissapointment can be one of the worst things a person can suffer, and two back to back is just unfair. Friday night my rommate, my girl friend, and myself went to check out the last night of Evil Dead Live. We got there about an hour before showtime. We still were put on a waiting list, on which we were third. When the time came for the elite few to called up to the big show my rommate was one of them, and my girl firend and I were not. I was happy for my roommate though, she told me about the show in the first place, and she was down in the dumps because the guy she cannot live without isn't showing any more interest. So my gf and I decide to walk the town and end up at the Metreon (big stupid mall in the middle of San Francisco) and decide to go see a movie. We end up going to see Van Helsing (although I opted to see Kill Bill vol II again). This moive was a total piece of shit/waste of money. Van Helsing is a cool character and I've seen some coll satuff done with him along the same lines as the movie. But trying to create some crazy conspiracy where the wolf-man, Frankensein's monster, and Dracula are all related is rediculous, also thrown in the mix is the little diddy about Van Helsing being an agent for Rome - I can't stand it. The plot basically ended up being Underworld, just swap out futuristic fetish groups for Victorian Eatern Europeans and you've got the same damn thing. But at least we all got out and did something with ourselves. I also actually started moving my stuff and am real excited to quit my lame ass job (being an RA). I also helped my girl friend et her room all situated and we were able to test drive the new bed
. Today I just chilled with my future roommate , ate veggie corndogs, and watched the Simpsons, all in all not to bad a week. Now finals are looming over my head and I'm running - but there is no wqhere to hide!
