Trying to wrap my head around this. A neighbor who lived down the street from my parents' house in CA shot and killed his ex girlfriend, her new boyfriend then he was killed by the police in the front yard and garage. I am thanking God that no one else was hurt and that none of the neighborhood children were out playing when this happened. This happened yesterday evening. Such a sad story.
I have been watching the news and reading the reports and it just breaks my heart. I just can't see him snapping like this. Though there was domestic violence at least one time in the past, he was always so calm, even tempered and always nice. He helped me set up for my birthday party one year and made the burgers.
Just so surreal.
