So I work in a really competitive industry. I really can't say who I work for, but let's just say that there are 3 major international companies in the industry and a lot of other smaller, independent ones. I work for the largest and most popular. Well today was one of those, I am happy to be at work and kicking butt in my job (yes, even though I hate it).
My coworker and I were in an account and moving around some items that the 2nd largest company in the industry had moved around. We were pissed because the relationship we have at the account is really good and it took a long time to get the account where it is today. Well once we got everything moved around, about 8 people from the upper management team of our biggest competitor came walking in. Boy they did not look happy to see that clearly my company was winning in the account. They were in the store for a good 45 minutes while my coworker and I were sprucing up the account even more.
It was awesome.
Today was a good day at work. It has been a long time since I have had one of these.
