So the dog drama is over. I took Rocky down to the Boxer Rescue's vet. I almost didn't make it in time due a fire off the side of the freeway in Glendale. I seriously prayed the whole way once I realized that I was past the point of lateness. I called to explain the traffic situation and see if someone would still be there after 7 and the guy had an extremely dry sense of humor and I wanted to slap him because he seriously told me that I had 120 seconds to get there. Nevermind the fact that I sound like a frog when I talk right now so expressing any kind of unhappiness was almost impossible. Anyway I made it and he is now in their care.

The rescue will ensure that he is microchipped and neutered and healed from the mange he had. While I didn't want to give him up, I know it is the best thing for him because he will be adopted to a family that has the time and the resources to care for him.

My heart hurts.
