First - why do doctors have to have terrible bedside manners? fuckers.
Ok saw neuro yesterday... my prelim results (after 2 weeks - thanks for making me suffer psychologically too!) are that my white count is highly elevated, and that the nerves are demyelinating - or losing their coating... and after nearly killing the doctor... I have either Late stage Lyme (surprise - more likely) or MS (lucky me, not so likely).
The best part is that the doctor was going to delay the IV antibiotics until vegemite explained the changes, and after seeing her tears, I almost killed the doctor...so now I start as soon as HMO will do it... ugh.
No word on how much I get back in terms of recovery... we'll see.
