What a weekend!
Started miserably - had to work late on Friday the 13th (exchange server crash - why can't people send regular sized emails? I should have remembered it was the 13th) never got to go to dinner in NYC with SG members... that carried into saturday so I missed Caroline's too! Really a shitty start... but I finally got everything running late saturday...
Sunday I woke up at the crack of dawn and got my ass down to AIDS walk, and had an amazing time, there's nothing in the world like helping others, truly... the funniest thing - one the diva's there gave me a safe sex kit... my fellow walkers thought it was very cute. It was sad too... as J and I listened to the poem and the song, I thought of all the people lost, family, friends and others - so needlessly. I guess it just overwhelmed me...as the local paper observed - and no, I am not that pretty...

After the walk we headed over to the NY Tattoo Convention where I met ymonster and he checked out my new tattoo idea - meeting on Sat to go over the plans - super excited to have my shoulders done!

As for the run, it is more important now cause my baby sister was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago, and we thought that she beat it until we found out last week that it is back. They funny thing is that I am not too upset because she is in great spirits so it is easy to take this time around.
