I took yesterday off, since I couldn't bear to update my journal after seeing the news...
A father confessing to the murder of two little girls, one of them his own... I sometimes wonder, and this is regardless of religion, how these things can happen.
Having some very personal experience with loss, how can a parent take a life so precious. The only positive from all this is that they are in a better place. He will receive retribution from society, and beyond.
I hope all who read this think positive thoughts for our children (wherever you are) and pray we as a species learn and one day maybe we can prevent this.
I remember a line from a movie which seemed so apropos here "Jesus Wept", I can't imagine a more fitting statement.
I know, a little deep, but hey can't always write about fluffy stuff.
