So... where I've been the last few days... my brother was in the hospital (in emergency then cardiac unit) so I spent tuesday night/most of wednesday with him, and yesterday just caught up before going back and finally getting him home with me. Poor guy, but at least he's all better now - or getting there. So weird watching the cardiac monitors at three am, with everyone but the nurses and doctors out, just staring in the darkness...
Felt like passover has a new meaning now, a deeper personal meaning, and I'm just glad he's still with me. Now he can recover and we can play video games and get our tattoos... and my sister is with us too... feels nice.
UPDATE: My first HR Giger book came - now my brother and I can pick some new art for tattoos! Woo Hoo!

nipple piercings are differnt for everyone, no two people have exactly the same experience, but I can tell you what happened for me. My nipples are hard more often, the bar really increases the sensation, so they are more sensitive to stimulation (I cant wait until they heal so I can have people play with them). unless the piercing fucks with your nerves, I think it just makes sense that it would causes your nipples to harden more.. I mean, you have a fucking bar through your nipples, and that creates more surface area and thus more stimulation of the nerves. thats my unnecessarily scientific and probably completely inaccurate description for you.
also, my nipples appear to be hard more often becasue the piercing makes them poke out more.
