I'm back. Minus 20 lbs and some organs. They say the surgery went well, that it didn't spread, but recovery has been painful beyond compare. Chemo starts next week, so at least I get to rest one more week... I started hormone therapy to help kill the cancer cells too...
A very special thank you too everyone who supported me and was there in spirit with me during this... it was brutal but with everyone's love and support, I will be back to myself (or as much as vegemite will allow). Sorry I had to cancel the visit, but no one should see me suffering like that - it was ugly.
lastly, a loving thanks to my vegemite... she rocks like no one else. Holding my hand through the worst of it, while my guts were in agony... helping me walk, it's a humbling and uplifting experience. Not many people like her. Anywhere.
