Ok I promise a more complete update this evening...
Friday... went to NYC tattoo convention made appt with keibunsha tattoo (for hand tattooing of dragon on ribs), then met calamity (yum!) to go over some design changes to corporate logo...discussed internship (and initiation!) too late to get to SGCT game night... and vegemite is coming down with something...
Saturday went to convention with calamity, with wine and presents for dekews and his billionth second party... vegemite too sick to visit mom (uh oh)... then on to hand tattooing...
OUCH! For those of you who don't know... Hand tattooing for 5 hours straight hurts... alot. On the ribs. Basically it feels like something is being jammed into your ribs and scratching them. All this while a video camera is in my face asking how it feels... clue to file crew - it's a fucking bamboo needle!
Afterwards (a little woozy) entered in competition against calamity neither of us won - but someone else that ymonster tattooed did - so it's a win for the artist, and that's all that really matters, and I get to see my friends bigpoppa99 and mistresstara...then off to dinner with calamity, tmronin, james, taye, cece, brooklyn,hunter, and of course the most lovely of them all vegemite. After dinner... vegemite started getting very sick... so we had to miss the party... boo.
This morning... she's still sick, so we all stay in (calamity came up with us) and have yummy vegan pancakes which vegemite bakes.

i've heard that hand tattooing hurts period but such beautiful work comes out of it. i just know i'd be too chicken to ever do it though
