Yeah, I think digital has its place. I'm a cheap bastard, so I'm a GIMP freak (on OS X).

I still think it will be a while before digital can give the same resolution as a good velvia MF slide. It is starting to approach 35mm, but you still don't have the same saturation, as far as I've seen (esp. for the cost of a decent 35mm and a roll of film, but the theory of digital is based on repeat usage).
