I'm sick like a motherfucker.

I woke up this morning, running to stick my head in the toilet. But because I'm stupid and stubborn, I still went to work for 7of 8 hours. It was an important day for my work and for the inventory I control; but the world woulda survived without me. I just have trouble trusting other people to do the job...

No worries, my friend. It would have been great to see you, but your health is more important. I'm sure that we'll catch up sooner or later.

Don't beat yourself up, either. You are who you are, and there's nothing wrong with it.
judypatricia:
I hope you're feeling better soon, and yes, it would have been nice to meet you I'm sure. Likewise, I hear only nice things about you from radiofrank.

I'll try coming back before the summer. kiss

Ever wonder about the meaning of life?

Not what the meaning of life is, but why we have to have one? Why does cognitive thinking automatically equate to a higher place in the world for humans than everything else that exists?

I went to a party for a friend last night. While it was nice to see a bunch of people who I used to...

_sarah_:
Nights (and scenes) like that always make me think of specials on The Discovery Channel:

"And now the male hyenas stalk the females, doing everything imaginable to grab their attention, all while the female hyenas ignore them because they are acting like asshats and being completely obvious about their horny, competitive state."

I hate frat bars. puke

Is that a new haircut? I like it.
freakpirate:
Carpentery is easy. I'll just be glad to be doing something that I don't completely hate.

And hey... I can't take her down on my own. Gotta keep her in line somehow right? So it's poop in the shoe!

So, I've started to build my new computer. I bought a tower case, hard drive, ram, & a new motherboard. I also bought a wireless keyboard & mouse and new speakers.

The reasoning behind this is that because I'm moving out, I need to leave a computer for my parents to use when I leave. So instead of paying $800 for a boxed system, I'm...

My ex told me that, and my man now tells me that, and yet still, the money is going into the computer ... New speakers, more ram, new monitor ... It never ends! wink
cottser:
Yeah, woo for saving money and being awesome. Hope all goes well with the build.

Greetings everyone.

I had a busy week. Looking for stuff for the big move, visiting friends. It's amazing how quickly time passes when I'm not at work.

I saw New World on Friday. Good acting(even C. Farrell), good cinematography, but waaay to stretched out. There was a fourty minute sequence involving John Smith and Pocahontas walking through the forrest staring longingly at each other. Just...

You find things when you're not looking for them.
radiofrank:
I agree with Lycoris; stop looking and good things will happen. You're a good guy, and you deserve some happiness.

Have you seen this? It concerns a little SGTO event I'm putting together, and it would be most excellent to see you there. smile

From the journal of the lovely and vivacious Jordan

What do you like more hugs or kisses?

Hugs.

If you had to make a speech on national TV tonight what would you speak about?

Enviromental Hysteria. It's been pissing me off lately.

If you could have one band play a private show on your birthday, what band would it be?

A Perfect Circle. That way...

I'm sorry for disappearing so suddenly, my friend...but I needed to spend a little time away from here.

I appreciate your concern, though. Thank you.

For those who wished to know, my dad's operation went well (or at least, as well as expected). He's in a lot of pain right now, but, should be out of the hospital in a couple of weeks. They used 144 staples to close the stump wound, and my dad says they itch like hell. Only he doesn't have nerve endings there anymore, which means...

Hold on... energy wasn't fucked up? How? Sweet evil Jesus how?
And where did you lose $61K worth of stuff?

The temp job sucks. I stuff envelopes 8 hours every day. But it's easy. I listen to music. Sit quietly. No one bugs me. I have zero responsibility and I don't have to lift shit. Plus, it's over soon and I'm hopefully getting the car jockey job.

elana:
Wow dude it sounds like you've had a lot on your plate! But you're a strong person and I know you'll pull though.

I've seen a couple of Penn and Teller's BS shows. The one on the funeral industry is really entertaining as well as the one on profanity.

You should throw a housewarming. I don't know how I'll get there but I'll get there. kiss

Let's see here,

a) I got into an arguement with my mom. It's funny, because she won't talk to me, and goes around telling everyone that I won't talk to her.

b) The argument pretty much made up up my mind. I'm moving out of Tottenham and my parents basement. I'm 24, so it's pretty much time for it. It'll be nice, cause I'l be...

I hope the moving out goes well.

I hope your dad has a quick recovery. It's good that you have a strong person like him to look up to.
radiofrank:
Good luck with the move, my friend.

Your dad is in my thoughts, and don't hesitate to get in touch with me if there is anything I can do for you.

Well...

Another year come and gone. Looking back, it seems to me to be a very mixed bagged year. I broke up with my girlfriend, realized a lot of my friends really weren't friends, had tons of frustrations at my job, and found out my dad is losing his leg.

On the brighter side my parents finally moved in to thier own house. And I...

The ages 18-24 were quite tumultuous for me. I hear it's normal. wink Unfortunately, I hear it doesn't end there. Damnit!
