the other side of your daughters family needs to understand that they need to play by the rules if they want to play at all. i am thankful that my daughters relations understand this. they gripe about not seeing her enough but she is available if they make the effort to see her. i took her to her grammies house xmas day, they politely tolerated me. then they actually thanked me for laying down with jordan for a nap for just over an hour while they opened presents! there is a reason kids connect to the ones who love them every day, and think everyone else is a visitor.
