Gargle with hot water and cayenne pepper. It hurts, it tastes like shit and it'll burn, but, if there's strep anywhere in there, it'll be gone. Do it every 15 minutes for about 2 hours and then SLEEP. You'll feel better for sure.
Or you can also gargle with vinegar, it also tastes like shit but it doesn't burn as much.
