Oi! Beware any job that makes you sign a contract. I did that and ended up in the Army. I saw your post in the Arizona thread. The SGAZ group is pretty friendly, but kinda... clique-ish. There wasn't many people at the open event I went to, but I noticed there was still set groups. What I had going for me was that I wasn't the only n00b there. The Tucson people were all talk and no action. Very strange.
Also, living 3 hours away didn't help but hey, snakes on a plane. Oh well. I don't live in the AZ anymo'. They're good people, just gotta make it to one of the things. Keep tryin'!

I just wish they had used the day to really look at what caused the attacks in the first place. I am not going to say that it is all the President's fault, but we should think about the role of America in world affairs.
I agree that calling the new buildings the Freedom Towers is a bit of a stretch as our freedom has not been compromised in any way. If they must rebuild on the site I would rather they build something for cultural understanding and nonviolent solutions to global issues.

i understand what you mean....but i have some very differing opinions on the subject that what is accepted as the norm. i wont even go into that for my own reasons. but i think that there are certain people who want to keep the masses afraid so they make sure its always in the forefront of our minds.

You don't know me but I can relate to a lot of what you wrote. I like routine because I fear change so I get stuck in a rut and don't do anythin' to fix it because that would require too much effort. I can deal with the dull and the mundane that I'm used to but not the dull and the mundane that might possibly come with change. I've been workin' at the same crappy job for five years because of this reason.
Take heart in the happiness you gain from pissin' random people off. I'm not allowed to respond with my true feelin's when patrons open their mouths because that gets me in trouble. Every now and then though a patron comes in already mad and I'm able to poke at them just a bit to set them off. A big reason for stayin' at my job is because of the rare chance that I'm present when a patron gets upset and I get to be a part of it.
Anyway, that's all I've got.

others may be right about the whole facial expression thing. i'm sure you were just a bit self-conscious about your teeth (which u mentioned previously). i used to be like that until i took a long visit to the dentist. i'm sure once you feel comfortable with your smile, then you'll be more expressive.
