HOPKINS PAVLIK FIGHT!
Call me crazy, but I think Hopkins has a good shot at pulling this off. I don't think he should hold and maul him like he did against Wright and Calzaghe.
For Hopkins to win this, I think he has to go with the route he kinda used on Tarver, but he needs to throw more. He needs to use his legs at all times. Even at 43, Hopkins seems to have his legs still.
Hopkins also needs to sneak in the right hand a lot and then get out. Focus on the body at times to have Pavlik slouch over a little.
At the same time, Hopkins needs to clinch and rough him up occasionally just to see if he can take it or be bothered by it. It depends because the reason why Calzaghe was able to beat Hopkins was because he was surprisngly able to work fast in the clinch.
Pavlik isn't fast so I think Hopkins movement and mauling could really get to him. Just a hopeful predicition. Worst case scenario is that Pavlik keeps Hopkins at the end of his huge reach all night long and punishes him.....
I'll hope for the best though.
