AND OH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (super spoilers ahead, oh my goodness its a rant!)
I cant believe how sucky the trailer and promos were! they did absolutely NO justice to the movie, whatsoever!
I loved it! wasnt perfect but damn, it gave me eveything I love: details (like LOGIC DETAILS! like tarzans hands were diferent because he used to run in all fours, etc), bad ass characters, easter eggs (the historically kind), one of the bad dudes was the same actor that playes Vandal Savage in Legends of Tomorrow (dc tv show).
Alexander Skaarsgard was soo gooood as tarzan! that guy is just SO TALL, and the muscles he worked out for the part? IT MADE SENSE, with the logic of movement a guy like tarzan would have! I loved the way he walked! it made sooo much sense, like tarzan wouldnt have walked in two legs for the most part of his life, plus the guy was a gigant!
And gosh, Jane! JANE! Margot Robbie kills it AGAIN! Jane was so amazing, so down to earth, so BAD ASS MOTHERFUCKER! And that was soooooooooooooooooooooo cool! urgh, the faith she had in him, and how she wasnt a damsel in distress, she tried to fight, she fought actually, but then she kept trying.
And the whole relationship of this two with that village? they were family! oh my god, it made so much sense. They werent just the white ppl that came to change things, no! they were the people that lived among them, teached them things and learned their ways. OHHH I LIVE FOR THAT!
Samuel L Jacksons character was so cute, and also, that depth about the civil war and the massacre of the natives, yup! YES SIR! What the white men did in africa and in north america and south america was so similar, specially in those times (i guess 1760/1800) was just so close in time and so close in what happened. SO manu atrocities, many lives lost because of the greed of a few powerful and violent men.
Urgh, dont get me started on that. I'm still angry lol.
Yup, new fave movie. Definetly top 10.
Ok, i get so excited about this things, you guys should have seen me talking about mad max! i could go on for hours!!
Plus, one of my favorite musicians did a song for the soundtrack!
