Not sure how to react to this:
This happened after I played today at graduation with the jazz ensemble at college.
Girl walks up to me.
Her: "Say boy you really got some nice rhythm..." (I notice her eye'ing me up the entire time)
Me: (while packing my cymbals up) "oh.. em.. thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!" and smiled.
Her: "You know drums aren't the only thing you could bang..."
Me: (At this point I'm like "holy shit are you kidding me?!") "Well, that's um... wow... what?!"
Her: "We should definitely make some music together. Imagine the harmony we could create." Passes me her card. She's a singer.
Me: "Wow, this is a first for me, I've never been approached about playing music with anyone, sure!"
Yeah right...
Her: "Call me if u wanna get together and make music, or we can just chill"
.... OK....
