Is this enough green?

There once lived 3 dinos
couldn't fit into chinos
so one said "what the hey!"
"those pants suck anyway!"
So they wore only vests
(To show off their green chests)
and little green top hats
for luck on ol' St. Pat's.
(I used no specific form just rhyming AA BB CC and so forth.)

And what's St Patty's without a limerick?!
Here are three green leprechauns
with sharp claws and eyes of bronze.
Lots o' em'rald scales
and really long tails
passing through your front lawns.

(Limericks rhyme 1st, 2nd and 5th lines. And the 3rd and 4th lines rhyme.)

And limerick # 2:
A dinosaur trio eyeballin' my High West,
(It's not Irish, but still warms the chest.)
"We will share!" I say.
The trio yells, "Hooray!"
Drop by drop, we are much less stressed.

A note on the dinos. They are my small St. Pat's gifts for the three little baby nerd birds. (The t-rexes are from Target's dollar spot. I made the vests and hats from felt and floss). What's childhood but one long endless string of excitement from one holiday to the next? Next holiday is, what, I dunno, two weeks away?! (It really does seem like "holidays" keep coming closer and faster these days.) ;-)
