Ate a really sickening amount of sushi today with a group of friends. (all you can eat, made fresh to order!) All of us felt pretty bad, so instead of playing poker we just broke up and went to our homes. I ended up taking a two hours nap - explaining my current insomnia.

Been bored recently, but luckily a book just came in: _The...

Gee, sure has been awhile since I updated. Well, the first week of owning the Sims 2 was dominated by it. Then I set it aside for a week or so and did schoolwork. The Class That Ate My Weekends is now over, so that's something.

My tire shreaded on the way home from a party last night. This is not a good year for...

Got Sims 2 Sunday. That pretty much sums up my life since that point. Had to buy a new graphics card, too, so it ended up being not inexpensive.

Things are both very, very good and very, very bad. It's a strange feeling.

ah. i was thinking of getting a 9800pro 128mb. i'm hoping i can find a 256bit one for closer to $150 rather than $200. i'm hoping they get cheaper when all the new pci-x cards come out.

that's fucked about the virtual drives. theres some nudie patch that takes away all the blurred out parts.

This weekend was the first of four weekend destroying classes. The professor only disliked me before, but now she *hates* me. It's easy to get through 3 hours of someone you don't like, but 7 or 8? The professor and I were snapping at each other all through the class. Urgh.

Went to see Coffee and Cigarettes. I like Jim Jaramusch alright - the only...

Hi!

Unusually psyched about writing tonight. One of my characters rebelled and turned into someone way more interesting and real. Yay.

Not testing out of class, I've decided. The hour and a half I spent on campus dealing with just trying to find out whose signatures I need disuaded me. (I still don't know, but I have two strong leads) Also, I can probably spend the...

If you don't mind my asking, what were we writing about in which your character had an unexpected turn?

Peace.

Did not get to eat steak last night. This makes me sad, since half price steak night is sort of the lynchpin that keeps my week together. Went to watch the Gunroom instead. Some of my friends have decided I need to hook up with someone, and have made seeing it happen a low-priority goal. A sweet sentiment and all, but Alls Quiet On The...

Back from Tuscaloosa. A little sunburned, but otherwise no worse off. Went out drinking on Thursday night, found out my friend's friends played darts all the time. Woo! Haven't thrown in awhile, but I guess it's like riding a bike. Jager Shots, oddly enough, seem to improve my aim. Same story Saturday. I need to find people to get into darts with. Maybe I should...

There are many reasons to like Olympic Beach Volleyball, but none more compelling than this Woo!

Found some old pictures online and so added them to my folder here. Most of them are pretty silly.

In other news, I've had really obnoxious headaches for the past few days. After some soul searching, I've decided they are due to nicotine withdrawl. The fact that I'm having...

Hi there, nice bantering with you on the History group's Asian History topic.

After reading your discourse, I would like to invite you to the Economics SG group. The group is very new and currently has only a few members; I would like to get a few people that understand economics well (like you) before I go spamming around in the groups and boards. Hope to see you soon smile

Ex-girlfriend is being obnoxiously evasive about money. My ex-best friend encouraged me to stay on her ass about it, because (according to him) the only time he borrowed money from her she was ruthless about getting it back. (Strikes me as odd considering he paid rent on their place together, etc.)

Dealing with Exes is absolutely the most fun thing to do in the world....

Saw Without a Paddle. Funny, way better than I expected. Drank a lot. Typical weekend. Next two weekends are dominated by trips, the first to Alabama and the second for the SGTN camping trip.

Oh, finished Chapter 25 this weekend. Two more chapters and an epilogue left. So close.

In other news, crippling ennui continues. I downloaded season 5 of Angel, so I might start...

Still floating around in mental limbo. I have this feeling like I have a lot to get off my chest, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. Maybe I'm just bored. It's hard to deny that I've been bored as *fuck* recently. Maybe it's time to read a book.

Ate lunch with former best friend yesterday, it was pretty...

Read your comments in tb22's journal, I also have a special place in my heart for the History group. I like to post my Chinese History stories more in that group than in the Asian group smile

My most recent ex and I broke up, I think sometime in March, and she didn't end up moving out until sometime in May. Since I had a couple of months of living together to adjust to the fact that we were broken up, it turned out to be one of the smoothest breakups in my history. No, strike that (damn you, no strike tag!),...

Great story for your newswire submission, it's something I've always been interested in but hasn't gotten a lot of press until recently. I'm glad to see a more equitable distribution of electoral votes - the winner take all model is just absurd. Thanks again, I'm looking forward to reading more stories from you in the future.
