Well, haven't posted here for ages. My net has been rather intermittent what with me breaking my server and generally not having the time nor inclination to fix things.
All in all haven't really been doing anything that exciting, though i did manage to get ootnaboot for the first time this year last weekend. Marcus Intalex and Calibre... Calibre was about as exciting as a hang over on a hot day... but thankfully Intalex turned the tide of boringness. Calibre was that slow that we were actually amusing ourselves playing Rock, Paper, Scissors... you should NEVER be playing Rock, Paper, Scissors when you have paid to see an international DJ.
Work is stupendeously busy and infuriating at the same time. It's sorta like there is too much going on so you never really get the chance to focus on one thing until it's finished. Fingers crossed that things will settle down a little bit and I will actually get some crap sorted.
Been doing quite alot of thinking and crap about the way that things have played out in the last few months/years and trying to figure out what my deal is. So far though I haven't really figured anything concrete out yet.
Have to say that a highlight of the past few weeks was getting the new Underworld track... jamming it on the ipod and riding out to Cott... just sitting on the grass by the beach watching a storm front come in in the late arvo and just not thinking about anything. Just listening to the music and watching the clouds split into different pieces and seeing it filter the sunlight as the evening drew closer.
Enough blather... Time to watch a messed up movie.
