well, the ballots in, the rainboots are on, I've got some naked (pics that is) in the works, and the sun finally came out today. But for some reason I'm feeling very lonesome. 
Its also hard to focus on the mountains of reading that I have. The good thing is all the reading seems to tie together. i might even try to be sneaky and write one paper based on a combination of both. I like it when the planets of academia align and everything makes sense, if only for a little bit.
Speaking of the planets aligning, did you see the eclipse? rad. All the ash from mt st helens made the moon red over here. And speaking of red, the red sox won the world series? for the first time in like 90 years or something? cool. wait, I don't care about baseball .... but it was nice to see my peers getting drunk and celebratory.
Now I'm going to go look at the moon and think romantic thoughts in my lonely heart.
