Saturday morning ritual complete: Take the dog to the coffee shop and enjoy sitting in the sun for 20 mins. or so. Then a nice long walk around my neighborhood.
Nothing set in stone for this evening. I'm trying to decide if I want to go out, or stay in and watch a movie (Versus). I hope everyone has a great weekend, no matter what you do.
[later that very same day]...uh, yeah. I got my haircut and I've already had a few beers, played pool, and 'got my drunk on' before 6pm...I love Saturdays!

Reading The Stranger this morning I came accross an article on Lori Nix.
"Her dioramic scenes--assembled in a spare room, photographed, and then destroyed...These scenes are photographed to seem more or less full-scale, and are populated with tiny model railroad figures and houses and also with things that are artist-made..."
I'm still trying to figure out why I like her work so much, beyond the shear beauty of the photography and skill of the diorama assembly. 'Elysium Field' is my favorite - but they are all fantastic.

I was gone for like 5 days. Did you even notice?
Anyway, your Saturday sounds pretty kick ass. Most of mine was spent shopping for mother'd day gifts and then going to the movies. No drinking for me unless you count Sobe. It has a massive amount of sugar and I had two bottles.
