Do you enjoy action movies with a bit of a twist? Then may I recommend Outside the Wire, which was more interesting than I thought it would be—barely. I mean, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, it’s still pretty standard action fare, but yeah, worth a watch if you’re in the mood.

Do you enjoy action movies that are complete nonsense on almost every level? Then may I recommend Morbius, a film that, maybe because I don’t know the comic, makes no sense. Also, for the Big Final Fight, the whole household didn’t pay attention and discussed lunch. ’Nuff said.

Do you enjoy thrillers that stick to their formula more rigidly than a Hallmark rom-com? Then may I recommend Hypnotic, a movie that’s so fanatical in its devotion to formula it’s actually weird. It has no surprises—I mean literally none at all—but sometimes that’s OK, I guess?

Do you enjoy let’s-put-on-a-show fantasy movies featuring dance? Then may I recommend Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which has a surprisingly good intro and great chemistry—and of course wonderful dance that starts super hot then concentrates on choreographed expertise.
